Its that time of the year again! We’re into finals with Seniors in the Football and B Grade, Under 12s and A Grade in the Netball. We need all our supporters there on Saturday to help cheer our teams on! Get behind our women, men and young people and let them know we there on the sidelines for them!
Kathy Owen played her milestone 100th Game! Kathy’s first game at Rumba, was in fact also her very first game of netball. Fast forward to 2016, Kathy and proud partner Josh Atkinson, have three beautiful children. Their eldest girl also now playing and showing talent like her mum in the juniors. The day they play together looks like it won’t be too far away! Congratulaions to Kathy and her family and we acknowledge her significant contribution to Club! Yakama Rumba
The Rumbalara Football Netball Club would like to congratulate Rex Taylor on playing his 100th senior game for the club in Deni. Rex has been at the club since age 11 in the under 14s where he won a premiership with then coach Henry Button. He has also had stints with the bendigo pioneers and bendigo bombers. Rex was the 2014 B&F winner in our Premiership season however unfortunately missed the finals due to injury. He also carried role of u14 coach in 2014, represented club in MFL interleague and was runner up the MFL league Best & Fairest!
Rex has had his bad luck with injury over past few seasons but we are glad to see him back up and going in time for finals this year. We wish Rex all the best in his return and hope to see him get back to his best form. Congrats Rex!
